i know exactly how you feel. i was about 10 years old and i when't bike riding with my family, on our bike ride we stoped by a corn feild and when't runing through it. it was realy fun. well later that night/morning i woke up to this weird noise coming from my ear and shortly after the noise came sharp pain. then i relized that some thing was wrong so i when't to go wake up my mom. so i woke her up and she looked in my ear and she saw some thing move and she freaked out, so she ran me to the hospital and the docters didn't know what to do. so as i'm siting in the docters room with a blanket pressed against my ear and tears streaming out my eyes i suddenly felt a tickle on my earlobe, at first i just ignored it, but then it started to bother me so i moved the blanket and look at it to find a beatle had just crawled out of my ear!!!!

it was the freakeist thing ever!!!

hey gary i think i got the same issue wit the ear case...there was one night i felt something fall to my shoulder. it was a dead bug that was pushed out. i freaked out thining i got ticks from sleping with my dog so i insert a cotton swab inside my ears to stop more from coming in. and the FREAKIEAST SHIT happened as i was sleeping. a bug thats already inside my left ear was pushing the whole swab out. i have even seen a daddy long legs try to pull it from the outside to come inside. is it possible that a bug can pass the ear drum and go deper inside? im bout to jum in water and drown e out or something

I awoke suddenly with a bug crawling inside my ear. I woke my husband and told him to get it out. It kept wiggling and crawling around and driving me nearly mad. After 15 minutes of trying to get the bug, we drove to the ER. Luckily, there was no one in the ER at 3:30 am on a Sunday morning. It only took 30 minutes for the Dr. to come and retreive the creature, but 30 minutes is a long time to have a bug moving around inside your head.

The Dr. poured peroxide into my ear canal to kill the bug. It didn't work. It kept moving around. After the 3rd attempt with peroxide, the Dr. began to remove the bug. It took three attempts to completely remove it in its entirety. Turns out to be a moth nearly 3 inches long. EWWWW! The longer it stayed in my ear and the more it moved around, the more painful it became. The actual removal of the moth was pretty painful. It had lodged itself against my eardrum. I ended up with abrasions on my eardrum and inside the ear canal from it moving its wings and feet.

That is something that I will not forget. I forever will sleep with cotton balls in my ears. I NEVER want to experience that again.

I woke up at 4:a.m this morning because I felt something crawl in my ear and almost instantly the most excruciating pain formed in my ear.My husband said he thought I was having a heart attack or something from the way I was screaming and carrying on.I tried hitting my ear on the other side to get it out and pouring water in my ear to no avail. The pain felt like someone was jamming an icepick into my ear....such terrible pain! Finally the pain subsided after 10 minutes and I went back to sleep.Later that day I went to the E.R and thank god they didn't find the bug still in there but it did cause a small hemmorage in the membrane that was still bleeding a little and causing some pain. From today on I will always sleep with cotton in my ears as I would never want to go through that pain again!

I recently had a bee or moth or some flying insect fly right into my ear . I dropped to the floor like I had been shot in the head and began to scream bloody murder while also clawing @ my ear and hitting the opposite side of my head to try to get it out . My friend poured water in my ear to drown it but it just pissed it off more . I than went to the ER where they left me screaming and kicking on the floor begging for them to kill this horrible sound and pain in my ear . They left me there looking crazy because they thought I was on drugs . I just kept screaming please kill it , please help me . They finally poured lidocane and I heard and felt it die - the only problem is they never got anything out of my ear . I even went to an ENT where he said I had ear scratches and trauma but nothing was in there . It either came out after the ER or my worst nightmare is it's decomposing in my head .

Charleston, Sc.
Last Summer I was asleep when a beetle crawled in my left ear. My left ear was to the pillow and while half asleep, I thought my girfriend was tickling me or something, and as it crawled in there, I realized that it wasn't my girfriend.
The pain of it scratching at my ear drumn was unbelievable! The sound was horrible. I was screaming bloody murder!
The Dr. put in some Lidocaine and drowned it and pulled out. Terrifying!
I've had sciatic pain, (3 back sugeries) broken my leg twice and hand and seperated shoulder/dry sockets (wisdom teeth) ETC.. NO Comparison!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Still have nightmares.
